goNORTH is an industry conference and showcase festival for contemporary and cutting edge music of all genres. Taking place across several venues in Inverness city centre, the event connects new artists with a broad range of industry and wider music consumers in a compact and targeted environment. Our aim is to highlight the best emerging talent from the Highlands and Islands, other parts of Scotland, the rest of the UK, and a selection of international contenders. In recent years, the event has brought acts from across mainland Europe, the USA, Russia, Scandinavia, Australia, Japan and Canada to the north of Scotland.

A wide selection of showcasing artists will also secure additional opportunities as part of our goNORTH Festival Tour. Our 2013 partners are Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Wickerman Festival and Loopallu. 

The goNORTH 2013 Compilation, featuring a selection of showcasing artists will also be released direct to industry via Music Week.

All applications are forwarded to a broad panel of industry professionals to establish the final showcase list.
